Línea Histórica es un viaje al futuro. Una visita guiada en un Museo del año 2118, que atravieza las revoluciones y contra-revoluciones del s. XXI que todavía no ocurrieron: la Revolución feminista de 2031, La revolución Monoambiental de 2068 y la Revolución del pensamiento o Ludita de 2080… Varias versiones se entrecruzan ¿A quién le toca contar la historia? ¿Y cómo se representa?

 

En Línea Histórica, el espectador atraviesa un recorrido remoto de testimonios y objetos que hablan de los grandes hitos de la historia por venir.

 

Contruimos el texto de la obra a partir de entrevistas a profetas del año 2018 y desarrollamos con ellos distintas versiones de un futuro tan cercano como inédito en donde la predicción y la ficción se confunden para completar el sentido en un discurso histórico plural. 

Ellos son Diego Golombek (científico), Marcelo Valko (psicólogo e investigador), Florencia Montfort (periodista y feminista), Soledad Barrutti (experta en soberanía alimentaria) y Nicolás Cohen (experto en tecnología). 

 

La guía del museo, es una chica trans. Todo su modo de ser nos habla del futuro. Podemos elegir qué queremos ser más allá del sexo con el cual hayamos nacido. El sexo no es ya una cuestión binaria sino compleja y crisólida.

Su voz sale de un parlante porque está mediada por dispositivos tecnológicos. El cuerpo y la mente están a veces desfazados en esa hibridación entre cuerpo y tecnología que aún no comprendemos del todo.

 

A través de la premisa imaginar el futuro para transformar el pasado, la obra investiga así los márgenes entre la profecía y la ficción.

STORYLINE

Storyline is a journey to the future. A guided tour in a Museum set on the year 2118, which traverses the revolutions and counter-revolutions of the s. XXI that did not happen yet: the feminist revolution of 2031, the One room Studio-Revolution of 2068 and the Revolution of Thought or Luddite Revolution of 2080. Several versions are intertwined. Who happens to tell how history really was? And how is it eventually represented?

 

In Storyline, audience goes through a remote journey of testimonies and objects that speak of the great milestones of the history yet to come.

 

We constructed the text of the piece based on interviews with prophets of the year 2018 and developed different versions of a future very near in time and yet untold where prediction and fiction get mixed up and complete the meaning in of a plural historical discourse.

 

Prophets are Diego Golombek (scientist), Marcelo Valko (psychologist & researcher), Florencia Montfort (journalist & feminist), Soledad Barrutti (food sovereignty expert) and Nicolás Cohen (technology expert).

 

The museum guide is a trans girl. Everything about her talks about the future. We can choose what we want to be regardless of which sex we were born with. Sex is no longer a binary question but a complex and chrysolistic one.

Her voice comes from a loudspeaker, mediated by technological devices. Body and t mind are sometimes out of date a hybridization between body and technology that we still do not completely understand.

 

The work investigates the boundaries between prophecy and fiction. And wonders

how could we -by imagining the future- eventually transform the past.
